We help churches and individual Christians connect people with the gospel of Christ

We offer resources and strategies to help churches and individual Christians reach people with the gospel message in their own contexts.

A proven approach that works in every culture

At its core the ministry of EHC is actually very simple. We strategically and systematically endeavour to reach every home in a given village, city, region or nation. That’s where we get the name “Every Home”—from our goal to take the gospel to every place where people live.

Canadian outreach

Finding the Hope brings the global outreach of EHC to our neighbourhoods.

Behind every door of every home in your community are people with a profound need: to know the Lord, to receive his gift of eternal life, and to experience the hope of salvation.

We provide a customized approach to help churches connect meaningfully with homes in their neighbourhoods and cities. We have designed a series of resources to help do just that.

Outcomes to date

  • Over 3 million homes reached

  • Over 2,300 communities reached

  • More than 850 participating churches

Why we use gospel literature

  • Speech fades away, but written words stay. Written literature is our best way to communicate who Jesus is, why he came into the world, and what he offers to everyone. That information never changes.

  • Gospel literature respects people's privacy. A written message, whether in print or digital formats, stays with people to be read and pondered at any time.

  • The next steps made easy. Each gospel message includes an opportunity to request follow-up, a short prayer in response to the gospel, and a website where people can learn more about Jesus and the Christian faith, find a local church, and more.

Stories of transformed lives

We met a young woman living on the street with people consuming drugs. They said that no one considers them or treats them as people anymore. This young woman told us of her misery. We shared the gospel with her and gave her food. She opened her heart to the Lord and intends to begin attending the local church.

Enrique is 38 years old. He told us that he was an adulterer, a drug addict and alcoholic, and used to leave his family in great difficulty. He says the discipleship ministry in the Christ Group he attends is helping him understand that his family is a ministry that the Lord gave him, and he is learning to care for them with the Word of God.

Peter lives in Guam and spent years in and out of prison. He thought it would always be that way until an EHC team knocked on his door. He was reluctant to talk, but soon a conversation began. Peter prayed to receive Christ and now, he is leading others to the Lord, including family members.

EHC workers met Justo who had been in prison for various crimes. They shared the gospel with him and his hardened resistance broke. Justo responded to Christ’s offer of salvation and his life turned around. Today he is growing in his faith and often joins a local pastor in home-to-home ministry.

Miss Joy was 38 years old when EHC workers met her and told her about Jesus and the gospel of salvation. Her broken past and ongoing hardship kept her in despair. After receiving Christ, she became hopeful. She now meets with other Christians for discipleship ministry and her life is gradually being transformed.

Sylveste, a 44-year-old man, had been an alcoholic and causing domestic chaos and fear. He says that his life has totally changed since reading the Good News of Jesus in gospel literature given to him by an EHC volunteer on the road. He continues to grow in his faith through the teaching he receives in a Christ Group fellowship.

After serving a 12-year prison sentence for killing his brother, this devout Hindu from a South Asian nation, said he had unsuccessfully tried to rid himself of guilt through his religious practices. Through the gospel literature he received from EHC, he learned that Jesus died on the cross for his sins and found the freedom that only Christ gives. Now he attends a Christ Group fellowship and testifies to others of the love of Christ.

Patricia is a single mom in Honduras living in poverty. In her despair she made several suicide attempts. When EHC workers came to her home and shared the gospel with her, she decided to ask Jesus for his gift of eternal life and to teach her how to live. She now desires to live as a disciple of Jesus, trusting and following him every day.

U, a 32-year-old married woman in Africa, confessed that she was a prostitute, a drunkard, living a lie, always feeling guilty and unhappy. After reading the gospel message and that Jesus is a true friend, she opened her heart to him. She says, “Now I am free, happy and I believe in Jesus. I am forgiven and a worthy wife”.
